Description

    The Acrylic“Emex WS” varnish for rock is a professional product based on acrylic resin diluted in organic solvents and special additives, highly resistant to environmental factors and especially to the UV, with high power of penetration, specifically designed for protection of natural rock. It contains biocides for protection against fungi and molds. This type of varnish is characterized by excellent adhesion and high yellowing resistance. The product provides an excellent resistance against water and weather and has a pronounced sheen.

Utilization Domains

         The Acrylic“Emex WS” Varnish for Rock is intended for use in decorative finishing and protection of natural rock surfaces, mostly located on the outside.

     At the generic name of natural rock are situated all rock surfaces such as: roller stone, carved stone, rock of any kind processed for use in construction, shale, etc. The varnish for rock can also be used at covering with brick or apparent brick, as well as any other mineral surface.

     The surfaces which will be covered with Acrylic“Emex WS” Varnish for Rock cleaned of dust and degreased adequately, for removal of any traces of dirt or fats. Any existing protection is recommended to be removed completely, if does not know with certainty the type or component of the varnish used before, or there will be tests for compatibility.

     Cement grout used for binding elements must be completely dry. Cracks and imperfections will be corrected prior to applying the product. The application will be made in two layers in order to achieve a satisfactory sheen and good resistance to environmental factors.

     For other types of mineral surfaces such as brick or apparent brick it will bear in mind that the surface which will be varnished to be hard and compact, without risk of exfoliation or cracking and also correctly cleaned of dust and degreased, in order to achieve a maximum adherence.
