Description

     The “Emex Rust Stop” Solution for Removing the Rust is a professional product based on weak and strong acids, sulfur salts, wet surface-active agents and organic solvents, specially designed for both complete cleaning of rust or slag from the metal surfaces and treatment and special preparation, by phosphating, them for painting or galvanizing.

     The phosphate solution is used to remove organic contaminants such as fats, from any metal surfaces.

     The “Emex Rust Stop” Solution for Removing the Rust is a professional product for cleaning and phosphating the metal surfaces used for the preparation for painting or electrochemical coating.

     It is also used to remove other contaminants such as fats, from the surface to be coated.

     For hard affected surfaces, full of rust, fats or other contaminant factors, it is recommended previous mechanical preparation (wire brush, abrasive paper, etc.).

     The product is applied only by brush, or wash liquor, specially arranged. After the complete cleaning of the support, it will be washed with cold water for removal of the inorganic substances and then dried. The priming of the surfaces will be done in maximum 2 hours.

     The product does not impose any restriction on the type of base coat that will be applied, and this will be selected depending on support, application and desired performances.

     It can also be used the - “Emex Dual Protect” product, which combines the qualities of protection and anti corrosive inhibition of base coat, with the decorative ones of the alkyd enamel.

     The solution for removal the rust has the same effective action for any type of metallic surface, regardless of its destination.
