Description

     The “Emex” Epoxy Paint for Paving is a professional product based on epoxy resins without solvent, pigments, special additives and organic solvents, with addition of hard materials such as: alpha corundum, quartz flour, etc. The product is characterized by exceptional adherence to the support, resistance and great stability in highly aggressive chemical, acidic or alkaline environments, great temperature variations, resistance to wear and abrasion, etc. This type of epoxy paint can be colored in any shade of the RAL card color.

Utilization Domains

     The “Emex” Epoxy Paint for Paving is intended for professional use for protecting and decorating the concrete surfaces, mosaic, chipboard, etc., primarily in terms of interior and exterior conditions in specific cases and with a special preparation of the product, support and application.

     It is used with excellent results on all surfaces requiring a superior protection against aggressive factors, from friction to exposure to strong chemical aggressive areas, the presence of hydrocarbons or chemical compounds like MeOH or EtOH.

     The Epoxy paint for paving is sanitary approved and is recommended for special conditions of hygiene such as: laboratories, restaurants, canteens, hospitals, etc., according to the requirements of European standards..

     For the correct preparation of the surfaces is required the mechanical cleaning for removing any spot or traces of contaminants especially fats and covering with “Emex” Epoxy Impregnation Base Coat. The application is made by rolling, brushing or spraying with air or air-less.

     The product is recommended for paving (or generally horizontal surfaces) of concrete, mosaic, founded cement tiles, cement self-leveling screeds, mineral screeds with or without self-leveling, etc. Due to its high resistance to different factors, both mechanical and chemical, this type of paint for paving can be applied on most surfaces exposed to attacks of any kind, but also on surfaces where it is required an exceptional decorative aspect.
