Description

    The “Emex” Diluent for Automotive and Special Paints is a professional product, made of a balanced mix of many organic solvents intended for the adjustment of the application viscosity of enamels, of varnishes, paints and automotive or equipment base coats but also on other special paints, to manufacturer’s recommendation. This type of solvent, although very active, helps to preserving all the basic properties of the paints, especially of shine, that can be compromised when using unsuitable solvents, or with other destinations than the recommended ones.

Utilization Domains

    The “Emex” Diluent for Automotive and Special Paints is recommended as basic solvent for all types of varnishes, paints or base coats based on weak or alkyd-melamine resins, in order to adjust their viscosity for application.

     Although the well-known products to which it is intended are of the type:

- “Emex” Automotive Type for Equipment Enamel, - “Emex” Metal-Faced Bronze Aluminum Paint, or “Emex”Anticorrosion Automotive Type For Equipment Base Coat, this type of solvent is successfully used for:

- “Emex Wood PRX” Fireproof Paint, - “Emex” Acrylic Bronze –Aluminum Paint, or - “Emex” Enamel with Hammer Blow Effect, and other paints only to manufacturer’s recommendation.

    The “Emex” Solvent for Automotive and Equipment Paints is also used for cleaning instruments for work (brushes, rollers, gun, air-less devices, etc.) and stains from accidental spillage.

     It is generally used at a rate of 5-15%, depending on the way of paint application, and the type of product. You should bear in mind that a higher dilution of the product than the one stated in the Specification Sheet, can negatively influence the performances of the film.

     It will not be used to other types of paints without manufacturer’s recommendation, or compatibility test.
