Description

     The “Emex TRS 400” Heat Resistant Silicone Paint is a professional product, with air drying, monocomponent, based on silicone resins, pigments, specific additives and organic solvents. It is a resistant paint with superior characteristics of film. After applying on the metallic elements, the heat resistant silicone paint dries by the action of high temperature, achieving superior parameters of resistance to high temperatures or excessive heat. It is fabricated only in colors: black and silver.

Utilization Domains

     The superior resistance to high temperature exposure, guaranteed up to 400 ° C, makes the “Emex TRS 400” Silicone Heat Resistant Paint to be intended for professional use for painting, decoration and protection of iron and steel elements exposed continuous or temporary to high temperatures action. It is recommended especially for painting elements of car exhaust: exhaust pipes, mufflers, and also industrial furnaces.

     Prior to applying, in case of old paints, unadhesive, they are completely removed by scraping, burning with gas lamp or using the special chemical solution for scraping “Emex CM Cleaner” remover, or Ecologic Remover “Emex PC Eco”.

     For proper preparation of the metal surfaces it is mandatory the cleaning by blast or by mechanical brushing followed by removal of the dust by blowing compressed air and degreasing with recommended chemical substances or with solvent.

     The priming, where necessary, will be done to the manufacturer's recommendation only with silicone heat resistant base coat, since it is the only one which provides full compatibility with EMEX TRS 400 silicone heat resistant paint.

     It is forbidden the use of any chemical substance or product that may come in contact with this paint, without manufacturer's recommendation.
