Description

     The “Emex” polyurethane paint for yachts is a bicomponent professional product, based on acryl-polyol resins, pigments, specific additives and isocyanate, intended for decoration of the metallic, polyester, epoxy or wood surfaces in order to achieve high resistance to salt or fresh water, strong impacts, boiling out, etc. Due to the fact that it can be obtained as a transparent product, and to its outstanding shine, it can be also used as varnish. The product can be colored in wide range of RAL colors.

Utilization Domains

     The “Emex” polyurethane paint for yachts is intended for use for decorative finishing of the line or pleasure boats of any size, operating in fresh or salt water, but also of the exterior decor items of wood exposed to weathering and UV rays, which require high performance and resistant films to aggressive factors, with superior shine.

     Even if the main destination of the EMEX polyurethane paint for yachts is to paint yachts or boats of any kind, providing protection in both fresh and salt water, it can be used with good results on any type of metal, wood, fiber glass surface, masonry, etc.

     The wood or fiber glass surfaces which will be covered with the EMEX polyurethane paint for yachts, are puttied and polished with abrasive paper with medium granulation, until all roughness are removed and the resulted dust is removed with soft bristle brushes, fabric cleaning rag, or by aspiration.

     Any anterior protection, regardless of the type of existing product, will be removed through scraping with “Emex CM Cleaner” or or ecologic remover “Emex PC ECO”, followed by drying, polish with abrasive paper and removal of dust.

     There will be applied at least two layers of paint, to achieve an optimal thickness of the film, which will lead to a superior resistance to shocks, scratching, friction but also a display and a final aspect very nice.
